Jesus said, "Forbid them not, to come unto me: for such is the kingdom of Heaven..."
Matthew 19:14
At Oak Grove, we prioritize the spiritual growth of our children. While we provide childcare, we do not subscribe to the "drop your kids off to play while you attend church" model. Instead, we believe in training children up in spiritual things. During regular services, we offer age-appropriate children’s classes designed to provide biblical teaching and allow children to engage in biblical activities with their peers. Our goal is to instill a deep understanding of God's Word from an early age.
It is Pastor Craig's conviction that an integrated church service aligns with the biblical model. In other words, if your child is mature enough to sit through the regular service, we encourage them to do so. However, this decision is ultimately up to the parents. We encourage children to sit near the front, with their peers, where they can actively engage with the message. Of course, if you're visiting, or if it's more comfortable for your child, they are always welcome to sit with you or attend the children’s class.
Throughout the year, we offer a variety of child-focused activities, with plans for even more in the future. This includes "The Christian Men of America," a program aimed to prepare young boys for Christian Manhood, and "Christian Women of America," Aimed to prepare young girls for Christian Womanhood. Both programs will teach life skills that our ancestors knew, but has been lost through modern luxuries, as well as how to defend your faith. Pastor Craig has a deep passion for children, understanding that they face unique challenges today. It is vital that they are rooted in Christ, surrounded by strong Christian role models, and connected with supportive Christian peers.

Where Do I Take My Child?
You will see a sign on the building adjacent to the sanctuary that says "OAK GROVE KIDS." Enter in that door and a teacher will greet you. Also, if you come in the main sanctuary, a greeter will be happy to walk you to the OAK GROVE KIDS area.
How Does Drop Off and Pick Up Work?
We take the safety of our children very seriously. Every child receives a name badge. Simply present your matching security ticket we provide you to pick up your child.
What If My Child Has Allergies
You will be able to specify this when checking your child in. Feel free to fill out the pre-registration at the bottom of this page for a quicker experience Sunday morning.
How Are You Keeping My Child Safe
While there will always be more than one adult present, at least one (most of the times more) adult that is trained, has their CCW license, and exercises their 2nd amendment right will be present in the children's area at all times. The children will not be aware of this of course, but we believe in the protection of our children in this crazy time we live in.
